The National Black Arts Festival is one of the largest celebrations of art and artists of African descent in the nation. See dance, film, literature, music, performance art, theater, and visual art all done by people of African descent. The festival attracts more than half a million people.

Summerblast Music and Arts Festival

This music festival features Bluegrass and Rock n' Roll. Kids and play in the Kid's Area, which includes workshops and playground equipment. There will be food and merchandise vendors as well. All the proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit The March of Dimes, Children's Miracle Network, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Performers include Bill "Sauce Boss" Wharton, Ten Woody, Monroe Brown, Jamie Eubanks Band, Skannyardle, Boulevard Heights, Forgotten Days, PSG, The Ruffians, Free Food, and the Chuck Lester Band.
